Electric regulating butterfly valves are a crucial component in the realm of industrial automation control, and they fall under the category of electric valves and electric regulating valves. These types of valves can be connected in two ways: flange type and wafer type. However, the key factor is their installation, which must meet specific requirements. The installation position, height, and inlet/outlet direction must adhere to the design requirements. Besides this, it's vital to observe the flow direction of the medium, which should match the arrow marked on the valve body. The connection must be stable and secure.
Before installing electric adjustable butterfly valves, one must inspect them visually. The information and product specifications on the valve's nameplate should align with the current national standard. If working pressures exceed 1.0 MPa and the valve serves to cut off the primary pipeline, a strength and tightness performance analysis should be conducted before installation. Only after it passes the test can it be put to practical use. When conducting the strength test, the valve must withstand a test pressure that's 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and the duration mustn't be less than five minutes. Additionally, the valve's housing and packing mustn't leak.
Electric regulating butterfly valves come in various structural forms, including the offset plate type, vertical plate type, inclined plate type, and lever type. Likewise, the valve's sealing can be classified into two types: soft sealing type and hard sealing type. While the former predominantly uses rubber ring sealing, the latter implements metal ring seals.
