Product Description

The self-locking sealing butterfly valve comprises a valve body with a passage extending therethrough, the passage having an inlet end and an outlet end. A valve stem is rotatably disposed in the passage and carries a valve plate affixed thereto. The inlet end of the passage is provided with a baffle flush with the valve body's end surface. A control valve stem is positioned above the valve stem and carries a rotating handwheel with multiple slots. The valve stem also includes a self-locking device to secure the handwheel. The self-locking device features a ring-shaped sleeve with a fixed base part and a retractable clamping part that engages the slots. The clamping part comprises a hollow sleeve rod with a telescopic rod. The telescopic rod has multiple limit blocks that interact with the sleeve rod's inner card slot.
