Flange butterfly valve

The valve stem of the flange type butterfly valve is designed as the integral metal hard seal valve's sealing ring, while the valve itself takes the form of a vertical plate structure. To maintain accuracy, the content has been reorganized to emphasize the structural features of the valve and its sealing mechanism.

The valve body is equipped with a composite structure consisting of a flexible graphite plate and a stainless steel plate. To ensure a tight seal, the sealing surface of the butterfly plate is carefully welded with stainless steel. The soft sealing valve utilizes a sealing ring made of nitrile rubber, which is securely mounted onto the butterfly plate. For effective sealing, metal ring seals are commonly employed.

Folding function use

The butterfly valve has a limited range of movement, typically less than 90° from fully open to fully closed. Both the valve and the stem lack self-locking capability, so a worm gear reducer is necessary to position the butterfly plate accurately. By installing a worm gear reducer on the valve stem, the butterfly plate can be locked in place and stopped at any position, enhancing the valve's performance. The industrial butterfly valve is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure ranges, making it suitable for large nominal diameters.
