Product Introduction

Product Description

A gear pump works by using two interlocking gears to move fluid. The drive shaft rotates one of the gears, which in turn rotates the other. As the gears spin, they create overlapping chambers that push the fluid through the pump. These chambers are enclosed by the pump housing and side plates, ensuring that the fluid is directed through the pump and doesn't leak out.

As the gear teeth disengage, a partial vacuum is created at the inlet. To fill this void, fluid rushes in from the surrounding area and is carried along the outside of the gears. When the teeth interlock again at the outlet, the pressure forces the fluid out. This causes a high pressure environment at the outlet, which places an unbalanced load on the gears and their bearing support structure.

External or internal gear pumps are the two classifications for gear pumps. In external gear pumps, both gears have teeth that extend outward from their centers. To facilitate the movement of the fluid, external gear pumps can employ spur, herringbone, or helical gear sets.

Fluid transfer is made possible through the utilization of gear pumps, which rely on the rotational motion of cogs or gears. As the rotating element spins, a liquid seal is formed with the pump casing, resulting in suction being generated at the inlet. The fluid is then drawn into the pump and enclosed within the cavities of the rotating gears, before being transferred to the discharge.

Gear pumps utilize a system of two idler gears that facilitate fluid movement between cavities present within their teeth and cavity. This movement is achieved by the continuous rotation of the gears. The teeth of the gears act as barriers, trapping the fluid as they rotate. Since fluids tend to follow the path of least resistance, they naturally flow towards the discharge section through the meshed parts of the gears. It is important to note that gear pumps come in two designs: External and Internal. These variants differ in their specific configurations and characteristics.

Packaging & Shipping

To ensure safe transportation, each individual pump set will be carefully packed inside sturdy plywood cases. These cases will be secured with fixed timbers and lined with protective plastic film to prevent any damage during shipping.

To ensure that there is no damage during packing, we will be conducting a container loading demonstration in our factory. The purpose of this is to ensure that the packing is done correctly. We highly value the quality of our products and are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience. Therefore, we take all necessary steps to ensure that our products are delivered to our clients without any damage. This is one of the many ways that we strive to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
