Hard seal valve seat
1. Body surfacing type
The seating valve in Figure 6 is constructed using a hard alloy material that is specially surfaced on a specific metal material. This surfacing ensures a durable and long-lasting valve seat that is resistant to friction damage on the sealing surface. The valve seat features an elastic tail seat design which effectively reduces friction and further protects the sealing surface from any potential damage.
2. Multi-layered
The sealed valve seat with multi-layer structure (as shown in Figure 7) is manufactured by stacking thin graphite sheets and stainless steel sheets in an alternative manner, and through special rolling and pressing processes, which significantly enhances its resistance to high temperatures and high pressures. This particular design offers improved performance and longevity, making it an ideal choice for applications that require high pressure and temperature situations.
3. Hollow tube type
The valve seat depicted in Figure 8 is designed with a hollow tube-type seal and consists of an inner and outer bushing, as well as a stainless steel tube at its center. The unique feature of this valve seat is its hollow elastic force, which allows it to exert pressure on the sphere. This ensures a tight seal and prevents leakage.
4. Rotary
The rotary sealing valve seat is distinguished by its unique feature wherein the valve seat rotates along the channel axis during the opening and closing process. Its structure comprises a ring of teeth that are evenly distributed around the valve seat's circumference. As the valve is closed, the valve seat rotates by the distance of one tooth. This rotational movement allows the valve seat to wear uniformly along its circumference, enhancing its working performance and extending its service life.
